The Filing Cabinet brings together work by Miller Opie, Paul Wylenczek, Lauren Be Dear, Logan Ray Bishop, and Paco Winebox. Curated by Peter Albano, who works under the name Paco Winebox, the exhibition is presented alongside TheaterWorks Hartford’s world-premiere production of The Cannibals of McGower County.

The exhibition considers Hartford as a companion setting to the Southern Gothic tradition, exploring family history, inherited mythology, and the forces that continue to shape a community beneath the surface.
